Converting sites from analog to IP has to manage advantages. With the many benefits, there are disadvantages of IP systems. One of the disadvantages, losing the simplicity of a spot monitor. Deploying spot monitors in analog systems was relatively easy. Deploying spot monitors in an IP system requires processing at the network edge. Adding a separate decoder or PC on the network edge adds points of failure, complicates installs, increases cyber security risk, and higher maintenance costs.
This session will introduce attendees to advancements in monitor technology, how these advances resolve the transition from analog to IP and how to lower the cost of deployment and maintenance costs.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion:
- Attendees will learn about new functionality available by converting from analog to IP Spot Monitors
- Attendees will have a deeper understanding of the hidden costs when deploying Windows PC’s in remote locations to display live video
- Attendees will learn how to remotely manage IP Spot Monitors from a centralized location and without sending techs to each site
Join EIZO to learn how to simplify the deployment of spot monitors to improve safety and ensure client satisfaction.
