Talisa Thomas-Hall, ACS, ALB, VC5
Proud Toastmaster Talisa Thomas-Hall, ACS, ALB, VC5, is an award-winning speaker, strategist and executive mentor. She has more than 30 years of experience as an association executive, during which time she traveled the nation as a voice for mission-driven organizations. Her professional experience includes trainings for preparing board leadership, facilitating strategic conversations, personal rebranding and building team moral. As a Toastmaster, she is proficient in Visionary Communications (VC5) and is the current Toastmasters International District 29 Division G Director. She has also served as a host and co-producer of Toastmasters District 29 Mastering Business Communications television show. Talisa has experience as an editor and contributing author for association journals; has authored articles for ASAE & The Center's Associations Now magazine and Board Source; and has been interviewed for AssociationSuccess.com. She is the founder and facilitator of the professional development and networking group The Alexandria Brown Bag, which is celebrating 14 years of serving the association community. She currently exercises her public speaking voice as the founder and CEO of the Butterfly Wings Foundation (#RealLoveWontHurt), which endeavors to eradicate domestic violence through breaking the silence.
Ingrid L. Thomas, DTM
With a degree in mass communications, Ingrid L. Thomas has carved out a career in public relations, digital and strategic communications, marketing and speech writing. During her tenure as an association professional, she traveled internationally generating press releases, leadership speeches and presentations for mission-driven organizations. As a Toastmaster, she has earned the top honor of Distinguished Toastmaster, has served in numerous leadership positions and has been honored as an award-winning speaker. Ingrid's diverse multimedia experience includes news print, radio, podcasting, and serving as a producer and host of Toastmasters District 29 Mastering Business Communications television show. Her current passion is her podcast "Truthful Tuesdays With Ingrid" #TTWI. Ingrid is the proprietor of IT's Creative - strategic communications and marketing firm, and a 2019 graduate of the Cornell University Women's Entrepreneurship Certificate Program.
