Presenter

Alexander Martonik manages Esri’s strategic initiatives around risk management – overseeing go-to-market strategies for corporate security and insurance exposure management. Since 2015, Alexander has worked alongside Esri’s users from both governmental and commercial entities, using location intelligence to unite disparate streams of data and uncover previously unseen risks to these organizations. Alexander was the first student to graduate with distinction from California State University San Bernardino’s graduate program in national cyber security studies, with dual certificates in geographic information systems (GIS) and intelligence methodology. During this period, Alexander studied the principles of human geography, military strategy, international relations, and counterterrorism. Alexander takes a personal interest in applying GIS to the cyber domain and human geography to better understand how to mitigate the effects of non-state sponsored violence against civilian populations.
