He co-founded PlanB Consulting and Business Continuity Training (BCT). With a background that includes military service and roles at Anglian Water and Scottish Power, he is a hands-on expert who delivers consultancy services globally.
A former board member of the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) and a Fellow of both the Emergency Planning Society and BCI, Charlie has received numerous awards, most recently the BCI Global Business Continuity and Resilience Volunteer award in 2023. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Emergency Planning and Disaster Management and has contributed to several standards, including ISO 22361 Crisis Management Guidelines and the BCI’s Good Practice Guidelines.
